[Bio] Dong Bang Shin Ki

[Shizus]

Dong Bang Shin Ki (también conocidos como Tong Vfang Xien Qi, TVXQ, Tohoshinki, 東方神起, THSK, Dong Bang Shin Gi, 동방신기, DBSK, DBSG) es un grupo vocal (seh, "boyband" pero no me gusta llamarlos así) de Corea del Sur.

Aunque inicialmente se los presentó como un grupo acappella, la mayor parte de su música es K-pop y J-pop mainstream. Su single debut, Hug, era una cancion pop (bastante "chiclosa"), mientras que el single que le siguió, The Way U Are, era dance/R&B, con coreografía y todo, y la tercer canción que lanzaron 믿어요 (Mideoyo, que se puede traducir como "Cree" o "Creo"), en cambio, era una balada. Hasta el momento el grupo, si bien dentro del mainstream, no se ha encasillado en un solo género.

En Japón, la imagen y música del grupo cambian levemente, por dirigirse a un público diferente al coreano, más maduro. Debido a ello, en sus álbumes japoneses se encuentran más canciones melódicas y acappella, en lugar de las canciones más pop y rápidas, con grandes coreografías, que los caracterizan en Corea.

Debutaron el 26 de Diciembre del 2003, durante un concierto de BoA y Britney Spears, en el que cantaron Hug y una versión acappella de "O Holy Night" junto a BoA. El grupo eventualmente lanzó dos singles, (Hug y The Way U Are), acompañados por photo books, antes del lanzamiento de su primer album TRI-ANGLE, en Octubre del 2004. TVXQ alcanzó el puesto #1 en los charts coreanos tres meses después de su debut.

Jajajjajaj En realidad tienen 3 álbumes coreanos (el mes que viene sale el 4to) y 3 japoneses, el resto son todos singles (muchos más en Japón porque en Corea está muy extendida la piratería -es decir, como acá xD- y no se vende tan bien, pero en Nihon sí, así que mandan singles nomás :p)

Me faltó poner las colaboraciones con otros artistas, como por ejemplo Kumi Koda (en cualquier momento hago topic de Kumi para que disfruten los muchachoos xD) y las participaciones en Soundtracks y álbumes colectivos (la discográfica suele sacar un álbum de sus artistas en invierno y otro en verano), que también son bastantes.

Sí, la primera vez que leí lo del debut también fue muy "WTF" xD (y buenooo, lo' muchacho' debutaron con la Britney )

Y no le hagan caso a Sennn!!! Miren Balloons, les alegrará la vida xDDDDDDD

Aclarame bien esto. La revista S! hizo una encuesta/concurso o algo así y los muchachos estos la pelearon con todos los grossos? Contame mas! :B

OFF: Me llama la atención gratamente lo de Tarja

La cosa fue así: hace un tiempo las chicas de Xiahpop, un blog dedicado a la música asiática (se los recomiendo porque ponen de todo un poco) mandaron cartas al suplemento S! para ver si había posibilidades de hacer una nota, aunque fuera mínima, sobre el grupo pero no les dieron ninguna respuesta.
Entonces, como todos los años el suplemento hace la encuesta, surgió la idea de votar por TVXQ en la encuesta, como para hacer un poco de ruido y que hubiese más chance de que publiquen la nota... Ahora bien, algunas fans se entusiasmaron un poquito demasiado y votaron como locas desquiciadas (ya en este grupo no me incluyo xD) e hicieron votar a amigos, familiares, mascotas, todo el que se les cruzara xD Y como resultado TVXQ ganó en una de las categorías (lo que fue una sorpresa para todo el mundo jajajja)

Y esa es la historia de cómo llegó Dong Bang Shin Ki al suple S! xD

Nota aparte, la nota está escrita con un poco de mala leche y mucho copy & paste, pero buenooo... algo es algo
